1. 압축을 막 풀은 소스루트에서

    $ tar xvzfp apache_1.3.9.tar.Z

    $ cd apache1.3.9

    # status 모듈을 추가 

    $ vi Apache_Home/src/Configuration 

      Rule STATUS=yes                       /* Yes 로 되어 있는지 확인한다 */

      Module status_module mod_status.o     /* status 모듈 추가 */  

2. 재 모듈 컴파일

    $ ./configure --enable-rule=SHARED_CORE --enable-module=so --prefix=/apache --add-module=Apache_Home/src/modules/standard/mod_status.c 

    $ make; make install

3. 인스톨된 아파치루트에서

    $ vi Apache_Home/conf/http.conf

      ServerType standalone

      ResourceConfig conf/srm.conf

      AccessConfig conf/access.conf

      ExtendedStatus On 

      ServerName 192.168.100.2                        # 도메인 대신 웹서버 IP 숫자로 기입

      DirectoryIndex index.htm index.html

    $ vi Apache_Home/conf/access.conf

      <Location /server-status>

        SetHandler server-status

        Order deny,allow

        Deny from all

        Allow from 192.168.100.1                # 도메인 대신 클라이언트 IP 숫자로 기입, 또는 모두 허락

      </Location> 

    $ /usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl restart

4. 테스팅

    접속:        http://192.168.100.2/server-status 

    갱신주기:        http://192.168.100.2/server-status?refresh=N:N

    정보:        Current Time, Restart Time, Server uptime,Total accesses,CPU Usage등

    주의사항:        만약 refresh 까지만 입력하면, 계속 refresh 를 하여 웹브라우저 사용이 불가능 해진다. 

                status 를 사용하기 위해서는 데몬모드로 아파치가 작동하고 있어야만 한다.

                아파치를 standalone 방식이 아닌 inetd 모드로 아파치를 작동시켰다면 mod_status

                를 사용할 수 없다.
